Want to jam along to your favorite songs without the typical AUX-cable hassle? At least I have spent way too much time for searching that tiny cable that turns my practice sessions into awesome jams with my favorite songs…

Bluetooth can make things easier. That’s for sure. I have experienced this firsthand with Line& Amplifi-amp I previously owned. Adjust settings from your phone, download presets, listen to music, etc. Sure, connection issues can happen(I have first-hand knowledge about this too, haha), but overall, Bluetooth guitar amps are nice tools.

And this is exactly why I was pumped to gather all the best guitar amps with Bluetooth (many of which I have had the pleasure to play myself) into this article along with some useful tips and my recommendations…just for you! If you have any questions, check the FAQ section or leave a comment.

I also reveal how to tap into Bluetooth features without buying an amp.

Let’s get started!

I first grabbed the guitar in 2009. I started this website in January 2020 because I couldn’t do window installation anymore due to my health problems. I also noticed that most guitar websites don’t do a really good job, so I decided to just go for it! I got lucky and managed to get awesome people to help me with my website. I also got lucky because I have you visiting my website right now. Thank you. I do all this for you guys. If you have any recommendations, tips, or feedback, just leave a comment, I would love to chat with you. I have been fortunate to produce content for several large guitar websites, such as Songsterr, Musicnotes, GuitarGuitar, and Ultimate Guitar. I spend my spare time exercising and hanging out with my wife and crazy dog(I guess that went the right way…).

3 Best Guitar Amps With Bluetooth – My Favorites

Best Budget – Blackstar ID Core Beam

What I like

  • Stereo speakers provide the full range of frequencies when listening to music
  • Relatively portable
  • You can easily record through the USB
  • 12 effects offer a lot to play with (Reverbs, Delays, Chorus, etc.)
  • 6 electric guitar voicings (plus 2 acoustic, 2 acoustic simulations, and 2 bass voicings)
  • I personally enjoy the ISF tone shaping (American & British tones)
  • Simple to use

What I don’t like

  • No app available
  • Not the boomiest speakers for meaty metal riffs

Who is it for?

If in search of a budget guitar amp with Bluetooth that offers great all-around tones, effects, solid tone shaping, and simple usability, the Blackstar ID Core Beam is my top dog. Its amp voicing from clean to overdrive sounds good and it offers great bang for the buck.

  • Marshall Gateway allows adjusting features via USB or Bluetooth
  • Different preamp(14), power amp(4), and speaker emulations(8) offer a ton of versatility
  • Offers great Marshall tones with an affordable price tag
  • Great variety of effects (24)
  • Offers a surprisingly loud volume
  • One of the best bedroom/home amps for me
  • Great value for the money

What I don’t like

  • Not the easiest to use (save the manual)

Who is it for?

If an amplifier that allows you to use 100’s of different Marshall preamps, power amps, and speaker variations sounds good, looking closer at Marshall Code 25 is 100% worth your time. This amp offers tons of different Marshall tone options, great versatility, over 20 different effects, and the price is still way under $500. It’s not the simplest to use, but to me, this Marshall bluetooth guitar amp is definitely the cream of the crop material.

There’s also 50 watt Marshall Code available.

Are Guitar Amps With Bluetooth Worth it?

To me, they are. Why?

First, guitar amps with Bluetooth are not that much more expensive than the amps without Bluetooth. Secondly, connectivity issues are usually not that bad. Thirdly, Bluetooth is convenient. No cables: Just connect and rock. But let’s look at the full list of pros and cons…

Pros and Cons of Bluetooth Guitar Amps

  • Makes listening to music through an amp really easy
  • Less hassle with cables
  • You can jam along to your favorite tracks smoothly
  • In many cases, guitar amps with Bluetooth have an app available that enables adjusting amps features from other devices
  • Guitar amps with Bluetooth don’t cost a lot more than amps without Bluetooth

  • Connectivity issues can happen with Bluetooth
  • Bluetooth amps can still be a little bit more expensive
  • More features mean more things can go wrong
  • Guitar amps with Bluetooth don’t always play all the frequencies of the songs that well (amps with Stereo speakers do a better job)

What Does Bluetooth do on An Amp?

Bluetooth connectivity on a guitar amp usually allows users to play songs from their phone or other media devices through the amplifier. This is great if you want to jam along with songs or just listen to music.

Some amplifiers have an app available for computers or phones/tablets which makes using and downloading different amp presets easy and usually, you can also adjust different features of the amp via the app.

Also, some amps also allow you to connect a Bluetooth transmitter from the guitar’s end(can be bought separately and is plugged into the guitar’s output jack). One such example is Yamaha THRW(wireless) amplifiers. You can just plug the Line6 Bluetooth transmitter onto your guitar and connect it directly to the amp and play Wire-Free.

How to Get Bluetooth Features Without Buying An Guitar Amp With Bluetooth?

If you don’t want to shell cash into a new amp purchase, a simple guitar amplifier-friendly Bluetooth transmitter can do the trick! One I recommend checking out is Blackstar Tone:Link Bluetooth Receiver. It’s simple to use, doesn’t cost that much, and seems to work really well for most players.

Note: Make sure that your amp has a free input for the transmitter, especially if you want to jam along songs with your guitar run through the amp.
